Current State Of Affairs, Part 2

Almost a year ago I wrote the first ‘Current State Of Affairs‘. After a year of blogging, a lot of improvements have been made but for the most part not that much has changed. There are so many aspects to blogging that it still feels incredibly overwhelming.

Much of what I do here is very experimental. I still haven’t figured out the right path therefore, I’ve been trying loads of different things. Some things that seem like great ideas feel flat once the writing process begins, while small idea grow into excellent articles after a bit of work. It all seems very hit or miss.

I took a small break over the last few weeks because I really needed one. Since our start we now have a Facebook page and an Instagram page. Both of which really take up a lot of time with very little productivity, when you are mindlessly scrolling. This is still a hobby for me. There is potential here, however it can become unbelievably time consuming if done right.

I just wanted to take this time to thank everyone who reads these posts. I am trying to make it better and really appreciate all of the support. From the private messages about small corrections to the encouraging comments, all are valued. Food is a big topic and everyone experiences it differently. Thank you, for taking the time to read about how I experience it.

To connect more check out the Facebook page and Instagram page. Also, feel free to check out the first ‘Current State Of Affairs‘ article.
